The world premiere studio recording of Peire-Serrate’s and Martinez’s The Queen, My Lord, Is Dead was recorded in March 2023 at The Evelyn & Mo Ostin Music Center Recording Studio in Los Angeles. Featuring the same ensemble that created the world premiere performance, this recording captures every haunting nuance of the score in HD audio. Produced by Peter Rutenberg and engineered by Steve Kaplan and John Polito.

A one-act chamber opera revealing the fate of Shakespeare’s seminal character, Lady Macbeth, restoring to the stage that which the Bard chose to keep hidden: her last fraught hour in Dunsinane castle and the choice she had to make. Composed by Tomàs Peire-Serrate, text by Alejandra Villarreal Martinez, and story by Michelle Rice after William Shakespeare.
