The Queen, My Lord, Is Dead
Studio Recording
The world premiere recording of Peire-Serrate’s and Martinez’s The Queen, My Lord, Is Dead was recorded in March 2023 at The Evelyn & Mo Ostin Music Center Recording Studio in Los Angeles.
Featuring the same ensemble that created the world premiere performance, the recording captures every haunting nuance of the score in HD audio.
The Queen, My Lord, Is Dead is a one-act chamber opera revealing the fate of Shakespeare’s seminal character, Lady Macbeth. A work that restores to the stage that which the Bard chose to keep hidden: her last fraught hour in Dunsinane castle and the choice she had to make.
